I have two miracle blankets. I bought one at a consignment shop for $15 because I had heard how great they were. Had I known how my son needs it, I would have bought both the blue and the pink that they had there! One night, he spat up on the swaddler, right before bed so no miracle blanket that night. We all slept terribly. The next day, I immediately contacted someone on craigslist and bought our 2nd one for $20 and once again, there was peace throughout the land :)
There is a certain technique to getting it swaddled and for us, it was trial and error. After he broke out of it a few times, I learned how to swaddle the full arm and then tuck it under his bum. He still kicks his feet out sometimes though. We also took a trick from the hospital nurses and put a folded blanket over him (just over his waist) and tuck that under his bum too. (Of course you can't do that when they have more mobility).

I used these kind of blankets with my daughter who is 4 now. They beat the pants off of any other swaddler on the market today. The fabric is not heavy so there is no worry of over heating, but its still soft. My child loved this blanket and I used it for about 4 months until she got strong enough to wiggle out of it at night. I ordered two more for my son. I must have.

Wow! After watching Happiest Baby on the Block and reading reviews of this product online; I was still impressed. Our 3 month old swoons at the sight of this blanket, relaxing and falling asleep shortly after being wrapped up. She is a tough little cookie and can wriggle her way out of anything. This blanket has really given her the sleep she needs. I will be buying these as shower gifts in the future!

I am a father of two wonderful kids. The first cherub had colic like you wouldn't believe. No sleep was involved in my life for her first three months. When my wife and I lost our sanity and tried for another one I wasn't sure I could handle it. We read reviews of the miracle blanket and thought we'd give it a try. It might have been the blanket, it might have been that he was just a better sleeper, but he did sleep. When not in the blanket he seemed to awaken from narcoleptic twitching. I would recommend this to all new parents, it is fantastic!

The blanket seemed a little over priced, but when we receive it, we could see the difference between cheaper stuff.
Unfortunately for us, it didn't do much to calm our boy. He didn't like to be wrapped in anything, so we returned it.
Good thing is we got full refund.
