sleeping for beauty March 8, 2010 Cadeau's mom (Marlton, NJ United States) I read an article that suggested using silk pillows to help prevent winkles, and less tangles for hair. Bought these pillowcases and am very happy with them. I've washed them on gentle cycle in cold water several times already, and they seem to be holding up well.
great fabric, but not good seam quality February 28, 2010 cp (atlanta, ga) Excellent fabric and feel, however upon the first machine wash, part of the seam unraveled a bit. A bit disappointing given that it is labeled as machine washable, especially as I have a front-loading machine which is gentler on garments. From now on, I'll be washing it in a mesh lingerie bag. I would buy it again, but definitely use a mesh bag for washing.
Very poor stitching February 18, 2010 T. Baichan (Corona, NY USA) Just put the pillowcases on two days ago and noticed that the seams are already splitting on one. I paid more for two of these pillowcases than I paid for the entire Royal Velvet duvet set so I'm not happy with the poor quality of the stitching. Maybe I just got a bad one because most of the reviews are great, but that's what I got so I'm only giving one star.
It Didn't Fit My Pillow February 11, 2010 L. Greenfield This item arrived quickly and is good quality. It says it fits standard/queen size pillows however it does not fit my standard size pillow. It serves its purpose but it does not look very nice.
good pillow case February 9, 2010 egirl (New York, NY) I did not give this pillow case 5 stars only because I doubt if it's really silk and not just sateen based on the fact that it can be machine washed. Otherwise it is a good buy at $14.99 and my hair stopped breaking since I began to sleep on it.
