We used this blanket for our second daughter and will definitely use for our son who is on the way. It does take a minute to figure out how to use it properly but once you do your baby will feel secure and sleep longer. I give this to all new mothers.

I am a reasonably coordinated person, but for the life of me, I could *not* swaddle our twins in any blanket that would hold up to the constant flailing of newborn arms and legs. Desperate for more sleep in the first weeks of their lives, I decided to shell out the money for this blanket (times two, of course). Finally, something to make them feel comfy and safe -- no more waking up because of their startle reflex. It instantly doubled their nighttime sleep spans from 60-90 minutes at a time to 2-3 hours. Especially with twins, any extra minute is precious and much appreciated. I think it's a bit over-priced for what it is, but I guess they can charge that for something that works!

Our son is a little escape artist when comes to regular receiving blankets. We bought the miracle blanket and since we have started using it, our son has not woke up due to him hitting his face with his hands. He has not been able to free his arms from the Miracle blanket and this has caused him to sleep three to four hours at time and he only wakes up when he is hungry. He is one month old now and we plan on using it till his 14th week. If you think this product is too expensive, think again it is well worth the money.

This was the best thing I ever purchased for our newborn. At first if feels a little strange to wrap him up in it. But he was very comfortable and slept at least an hour or two longer then when he isn't wrapped in the Miracle Blanket.

Review Girl
After out growing 3 other swaddle blankets by 2 months I broke down and bought the miracle blanket. This blanket is great as your baby grows. He's now 4 months and sleeps in this for naps and 10 hours through the night ( only waking twice). My only recommendation would be to buy 2 or 3 for backups. My son sometimes has a leaky diaper in the mornings which means I have to do an early morning wash so his swaddle is ready for nap time.
