I got this because the only space in our son's bedroom for the crib was in front of the window. I didn't want him to be able to reach thru the bars and play with the blinds or get tangle in the cord. This works perfectly to protect him from any danger posed by the window or the blinds. It's behind his crib, so you only notice it if you look for it. It was easy to put together and easy to install. GREAT PRODUCT!

Easy to instal and perfect for protecting a toddler from the window. Not the most attractive, but better than bars.
